Gifted Gorgeousness SAL 2015 - Update #1

So here we are... my first "Gifted Gorgeousness SAL 2015" (GG SAL) post!  And yes, I actually have something to show - no finishes, but lots of starts!!

If you're not sure what this particular SAL is all about.... Jo from Serendipitous Stitching hosts this SAL - the link to my post late last year about the SAL is here.... but essentially this SAL is about stitching charts/kits or using fabrics & threads that we have received as gifts, won in giveaways or anything that is intended be a gift or giveaway prize... or anything else that you can loosely use the word "gift" for!!  If you wish to sign up for this SAL, click on the button below or the button on my sidebar and you will be re-directed to Jo's blog.

Onto the update:  As you know I have been doing a couple of Crazy January challenges and as part of those challenges I included some of the charts that I wanted to stitch for this SAL.

The first of these is:

There are actually 4 charts to stitch (2 per pack) and I have now started "printemps" and "été". Below are pics of where I got up to on Day 8 and Day 9 of the Crazy January challenges.

Again there are numerous charts in this chart booklet and I plan to stitch them all at some stage, however for the January challenge I have chosen two (2) to start - "Joyeux Noel" and "Feeling Festive".  Pics below are of where I got to on Day 10 and Day 11.

I started on both of these Limited Edition Lizzie Kate Halloween charts during January.  They are both so cute and easy to stitch so fingers crossed I will have at least one of these charts finished very soon!  "Eek" was started on Day 2 of the challenge and the "Autumn Fab Fob" on Day 4.

So that's it for my first "Gifted Gorgeousness SAL (GG SAL)" update!  I will be back on 15th February 2015 with another update and hopefully some progress on some of these new WIP's in my stitching basket!  I have also set up a GG SAL page on my blog which I will try and keep updated with links to the update posts if you ever want to refer back at some point in time....
